Popular stations in Germany.
Two stations in particular are very well known for their beauty and are often highly recommended by the locals to make sure you make a stop at them.
- The Leipzig Hauptbahnhof - is one of the top stations ever with a beautiful shopping centre that has been integrated with a bit of the history preserved in the station. It’s a wonderful way to experience travelling via the ICE train and enjoying some shopping time for friends and family.
- In Berlin the Lehrter station is also another big attraction. It is truly a state of the art station. The massive canopy of glass is covered in 3,500 sq. metres of solar panels. It is literally in the heart of the city of Berlin. The landscape around Lehrter station is just as beautiful as the station itself. The Spree river is just south of the station and the there is a major canal that runs east.
Visit the capital of Germany by highspeed rail. Whilst you’re in Germany, and in particular the city of Berlin, you will want to be sure to see The Branderberg Gate, which is one of Germany’s well known landmark sites. There is a new commercial area, called Potsdamer Platz, that is a must see also.
